About our cause
Trees for Farms is a local initiative that aims to enable the local community to work with farmers in the Borough of Swale to plant new hedges.
We aim to enable people to take positive actions to help tackle the challenges of climate change and loss of biodiversity.
Since our first planted hedge in early 2020, with the assistance of volunteers of all ages we have managed to plant 350m of native hedgerows locally.
We seek donations to support Trees for Farms. All donations will go directly to purchase plants and materials, and the work will be done by volunteers at no cost.
We have been heartened by the response of volunteers and local farmers who have welcomed the opportunity to do something positive for our environment. It feels good to know that we can make a difference!
Thank you for your support and good luck!
Yours sincerely,
Liz Pichon
